I think the future of Pro Street is wide open. I spent many years in my '65 blown Elky on the streets and show circuit. Everyone loves them but the question always seems to be do they want to own one? Todays market has put them in a slump. Although guys are asking big bucks for some fine cars it seems the public has a hard time laying down the cash for these beautiful rides. I took a beating on mine and know the car was worth triple what I sold it for. Would I build another one? I doubt it. I would stay the trend and build a good quality Pro Touring car. Theres something to be said about getting in a 30 year old car and carving corners! We are presently building a '69 RS/SS with a complete DSE quadralink rear, Hydro formed front subframe, Big Baer brakes front and rear, mini tubs, and a 550 HP LS2 from Turn Key Engines. I think the tires that will be on this project are as close as I will get to going back to Pro Street anytime soon. Dan
Cant wait to see the Camaro Dan! If it is half as good as the Nova, it will be killer!! Any pics of it yet, love to see, even build pics would be cool Dan!
